Courage Sketches

Sooooooooo, guess what!
In the process of cleaning the junk pile that is my room (which I've been trying to clean for the past couple weeks.... again ) I uncovered a relic!
It was an old, old , old, old, OLD, we're talking end of elementary beginning of middle school fan comic I made of Courage the Cowardly Dog 0o0''' OMGAH!
I was SO surprised! I thought I had accidentally thrown it away or given it to a friend to read and lost it ages ago!

It was a silly story, but looking back at it and reading it again made me wanna draw these. When I was a kid... I didn't like Muriel and Eustace being the main human characters (which is silly, cause I love them to death now) <XD So I wanted to make a story about Courage being with a younger owner, plus I wanted Freaky Fred to come back X)
Granted, the drawings where so terrible I refuse to post any of it on dA, haha <XD But I'll tell yah the story anyway...

It's a long one D:> So Muriel and Eustace are going on a vacation/anniversary/whatever thing, that's STRICTLY no dogs allowed, and they decide to leave Courage with there daughter, Clarence (the oldest name I could think of as a kid, lol) who lives in the big stinkin' city. Clarence is a fashion designer (cause she likes to sew like mom), whose preparing for a big fashion competition. Her head model for the show is actually, Barabara (haha ^^) Part of the show, is to have good hairstyles as well as dresses... so Clarence calls her cousin, Fred, to pay a visit and help with hairstyles. Courage thinks this is a terrible idea, cause last we saw Fred, he was institutionalized. But he says he's been fully "cured". But just you wait... Courage finds out... that Clarence's rival in the business, is none other than Katz, of course. Who is entering the fashion competition as well and he will stop at nothing to win (like always). Clar sends Courage and Fred out into the city to get some hair stuff for the show. But Katz catches Fred, and pulls a clockwork orange on him, so he's nuts for hair again. So it's up to Courage to try and save the show for Clarence, and keep Fred from shaving all the models. During the show, Courage is nearly saving every models head from the electric shaver, the show is going good until Barabara is about to make her depute with the best hair and the best outfit Clarence has to show. When disaster strikes, right before she goes on the stage, Fred gets her (lol again). She goes out on the runway with a bald head. Everyone's shocked, while Katz is laughing evily, he's sure to win. Until one of the judges is like "Ho-mah-gawd... I LAV IT." Katz winds up losing. Bald is the new "in", and of course everyone wants a haircut from the genius who created the style. Soo.... it's win win for everyone. Clarence won, she becomes a famous designer, Fred gets to do his favorite thing, shave heads, and be famous for it... aaaaand Barabara pulls the shallow girlfriend, and now that he's famous and rich and gave her a "hip" hairstyle... she wants to go out with him again. And Courage... well, I think the picture at the bottom explains it all.

Oh also, Clarence has a cat (the little one you see there). Does he look familiar? He's actually from another Dillworth short! His name's Hector.

haha, wow, I wrote more than expected <X) Eh, I thought it was cute. I'd love to redraw the whole thing... but I'm so busy lately (and it's not really my cartoon to mess with ^w^) But hope you enjoy anyway!
